At the edge of the small village of Zafrilla, we find an old washhouse, a fountain, and some barbecues used by the locals for leisure. Perhaps it could benefit from some shade to keep the sun out directly.

This shelter serves as a resting place and even as a place to spend the night during hikes. The surrounding area features stone tables and benches where you can sit and eat while enjoying the surroundings.

This section is before reaching Zafrilla and before and after it. I confess that the slope is tough and, especially if you do it on a hot day, you will have to take refuge (as was my case) in the shadows of the few scrubland trees to cope with the difficulty.

This small town has two small rivers, called the Laguna River and the Tejadillos River, which flow through a large orchard near the town, abundant with hazel trees and willows.

A small town in the province of Cuenca with a very small population, barely 30 residents. It is located in the Serranía Baja region of the province of Cuenca and is just six kilometers from the town of Huerta del Marquesado.

It is an old farmhouse that has been carefully restored and has tried to avoid being influenced by modern construction, so it stands out precisely because of the careful appearance of its renovation.

The official source of water is located at Fuente de García, in the Montes Universales, within the municipality of Frías de Albarracín (Teruel). It is located at an altitude of approximately 1,590 meters, surrounded by pine forests and high mountain meadows. Access is very easy and well signposted. Take the A-1704 highway, which connects Frías de Albarracín with Huélamo (Cuenca). From the highway, a paved detour of approximately 2 km takes you directly to the recreational area and the monument. There is free parking next to the monument.
