The Paeria Palace is one of Lleida's most emblematic buildings and the seat of the city council. Architectural style: Romanesque civil architecture, built in the 13th century. It is one of the few examples of non-religious Romanesque architecture in Catalonia. Façade: Notable for its sandstone and windows with semicircular arches. Interior: It houses historic rooms such as the Plenary Hall and the Altarpiece Hall, as well as archaeological remains in the basement. Name: “Paeria” comes from the Latin word patiari, meaning “to govern with justice,” reflecting the medieval municipal tradition.

At the exit of La Figuera, we took a long path of medium/low difficulty, then continued along the tracks to the hermitage of Cérvoles, and once there, finished climbing the tower of the Moors, with impressive views of the valley. The descent, along fast tracks, but there are options for more paths, which we did not take so as not to be late

The Paeria Palace is the seat of the city administration and is located in the commercial axis. The word "paer" comes from the Latin "paciari", which means man of peace, and has its origins in the privilege granted by King James I in 1264. Schedule, Monday to Saturday: from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday and holidays: from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The Lérida City Council, also traditionally known as Paería de Lérida, is the first-level administration that governs the city and municipality of Lérida. Its headquarters are located in the Paeria Palace.

The Segre river is the main tributary of the Ebro on its left bank and as it passes through the city of Lleida it already runs through its last section, with a slight slope and low speed. However, floods of water passing through Lleida have occurred throughout history. For this reason, in this area the river is channeled, allowing various recreational areas on both banks, as well as various bridges and walkways that connect them to each other.

On the border between Catalonia and the Strip, an area with long straights and strong insolation in the summer, always carry water before crossing this area.
