There are plenty of tables in this area (making it a good place for a picnic), the river is quite full for the Manzanares River, and there are several banks where ducks and swans often linger in search of stale bread from the people who are spending the day there. Its leafy trees and wide paths make walking here extremely pleasant.

The Quinta del Duque del Arco is a historic estate located on the Monte de El Pardo, in Madrid. It was built in the 18th century as a recreational residence and was owned by the Duke of Arco, who received it as a gift from Philip V. It stands out for its baroque mansion, its French-style gardens with fountains and statues, and its privileged natural setting within the Monte de El Pardo, a royal hunting area. The estate currently belongs to the National Heritage, although access is limited. Its value lies in its architecture, its interior decoration and its importance in the history of the Spanish monarchy.

Be careful with the fences, they have re-marked the plots, and there are places that are closed off, don't go too fast.
