The "Eclesia de Pontonibus" is mentioned in 1279. At the end of the 14th century, it was called a parish church. In the lower part of the façade and beneath the bell tower, a fragment of a Romanesque wall is visible, corresponding to the façade of the old church. Next to the current door, on the south side, there is another rectangular door, with an oculus above it. Both openings are currently bricked up and belong to the old Romanesque façade. The apse has a semi-decagonal plan and is windowless. The eaves of the roof are decorated with red triangles on a white background.

Great place to cross the river Ter. Definitely worth a visit when planning your bike ride. Gravelbike, MTB and even a normal bike will do. Take time to enjoy the nature here. The sound of the flowing water is very soothing.

Without time to look closely at the dam, passing the river through it was in itself a pleasant experience.
