One of the characteristics of this town is its name which, as it indicates, shows us how the town is located next to a mountain pass, just like the pass itself.

The obligatory point during the visit in the town is the Church of San Bartolomé, from the 16th century, in late Gothic style, where we can see the frescoes, which represent scenes from the life and martyrdom of San Bartolomé.

A granite hill, 680 m high, which allows us to enjoy the beautiful landscape that surrounds it. In addition, at the top we find remains of the walls of Celtic origin and later Muslim use.

Ruins of the old flour mill, located near the Rusty Fountain, which is one of the few vestiges of the old Rusty Baths, known in the 20th century for its medicinal waters.

In the area called Los Praderones, where we will see large stone screes after a steep ascent, there are some caves that were frequented by bandits in the area such as "Felipe el facioso" to hide. In some you can still see the places where they lit the fire.

The Antigua Casa de los Pechiches Interpretation Center is located right next to a small lagoon. This part of the trail is flatter.

The province of Toledo has a large number of megalithic monuments in its territory. The dolmen known as "La Estrella" is one of them and is believed to be over 4,500 years old and was used as a burial place.
