Temblor de Arriba is a beautiful mining town in the province of León surrounded by forested mountains. The Tremor River runs through the town.

Murias de Paredes is a small town on the Vallegordo river. The most notable monument of the churches of the Barrio de la Puente.

Flanked by some of the best-preserved birch forests in the entire region, this town is the head of a municipality that includes fourteen towns spread over three valleys, Omaña and the Chico and Gordo valleys. It is one of those areas that has suffered hard from the scourge of depopulation, but once you are here you still want to change the statistics and stay to live.
