The Route 66 Restaurant in Tabernas is an iconic venue offering a unique experience inspired by the famous American road. Located on the N-340a highway, this restaurant combines traditional Spanish cuisine with American gastronomy.

High on a hill with beautiful distant views lie the remains of a once mighty castle. At the moment the ruins are still not easy to reach but you will no longer be fired upon as you climb the hill in the hot Spanish sun ;-) Entrance is free.

Near Tabernas lies a (semi) desert in Europe. A bone-dry area of 280 km² where the sun shines all year round and the least rain falls in all of Europe!
