The Sierra de Castellar de los Bueyes Route, located near Horcajo de los Montes within the Cabañeros National Park, is an excellent option for enjoying the Mediterranean forest and panoramic views.

Within its extensive municipal area are the Torre de Abraham reservoir, with a capacity of 184 cubic hectometres, and the Cabañeros National Park. One of the attractions of Retuerta del Bullaque, along with the neighboring municipality of Navas de Estena, is its paleontological treasures.

The La Viñuela Trail is a hiking trail located in Cabañeros National Park, near Alcoba de los Montes. It runs through the valley of the La Viñuela stream, at the foot of the Sierra del Chorito. It passes through undergrowth of strawberry trees, ancient holm oaks, rockroses, and oak forests. It offers spectacular views of the Cabañeros plain, a typical plain in the park. Deer, wild boar, vultures, and eagles are common sights.

Many cranes and storks flock to this lake every year. Unfortunately, they're currently elsewhere on their long, distant migrations.

It is part of the Cabañeros National Park, one of the most important nature reserves on the Iberian Peninsula, ensuring its protection and conservation. This enclave is ideal for activities such as hiking, wildlife watching, and ecotourism. Furthermore, the stream's surroundings are surrounded by native vegetation and are home to species such as roe deer, otters, badgers, and various birds.

The El Rubial Stream, also known as Arroyo del Rubial, is located in the municipality of Horcajo de los Montes, in the province of Ciudad Real, within the autonomous community of Castilla-La Mancha. This stream is one of the most notable natural features in the area.

At the end of the road is a picnic area and parking. From here, a path leads down the riverbed to the waterfall, a total distance of 6.5 km (4 miles) round trip. In October, the waterfall had dried up.
