Pico Cancho La Muela, located between La Garganta (Cáceres) and the Sierra de Béjar, very close to Hervás: Spectacular views of the Hoya Moros Glacial Cirque, the Sierra de Béjar, the Ambroz Valley, the Sierra de Gata, the Sierra de Francia and the Navamuño reservoir.

This impressive scree is the goal of the Candelario Vertical Kilometer. From its summit, there is a beautiful view of the fossil hanging glacial valley, where the Candelario pasture of La Cardosa is located, as well as the river valley of the Arroyo de Navalengua, which channels meltwater. There are also views of Candelario, Béjar, and the Sierra de Francia in the background. For athletes, the ascent from Candelario (intense) is well worth it. For landscape lovers, it is relatively easy to access from the Cobatilla parking lot (caution, as this is a high mountain area).

Puerto del Tremedal from El Barco de Ávila is a climb in the Castilla y León region. It has a length of 10.9 kilometers and an ascent of 608 vertical meters with an average gradient of 5.6%, which implies a difficulty level of 420. The top of the ascent is located at 1,640 meters above sea level.

Its peak at 1626 masl offers wonderful panoramic views towards the Parque de la Sierra Candelario in Salamanca and towards the north of Extremadura in the other direction. The journey coming from Béjar is very picturesque and without too much technical difficulty.

Peña Negra is one of those challenging but highly rewarding peaks. The views from its top at 1634 meters above sea level are truly amazing and you will have 360 degree panoramic views of the entire Sierra de Candelario Natural Area, including the Navamuño Reservoir.
