You can walk around the lake in half an hour

An ideal place to relax in the bosom of nature. There is a shelter and wooden benches surrounded by trees in the Sobibór Landscape Park.

A reserve within the Sobibór Landscape Park, which includes three lakes and birch and alder forests. There is an observation tower at the largest of the lakes, Lake Wspólne. The reserve was created to protect and preserve the most numerous breeding site of the European pond turtle and other species of endangered animals and plants in Poland.

The Sobibór Loop (green trail) is a beautiful trail approximately 11 kilometers long, starting at the Sobibór railway station. It runs through the central part of the Sobibór Forests, within the International Biosphere Reserve "Western Polesie". European pond turtles, beavers, moose and many other rare and endangered animal species live here. The flora here seems intact and presents outstanding natural values.
