The Hökensås MTB Trail begins at First Camp Hökensås. The 19-kilometer circular route leads through the beautiful Hökensås landscape, with its pine forests and rolling hills. The trail is essentially a hiking trail, so be mindful of other hikers and be considerate of them. The black-and-white Hökensås hiking trail runs in the opposite direction, so you may encounter other hikers.

Hökenaås is a nature reserve and a scenic area known for its extensive forests, numerous lakes, and excellent fishing opportunities. It's a popular destination for outdoor activities like hiking, cycling, camping, and cross-country skiing. This is a trailhead with information about hiking and MTB trails.

The station was the terminus of the Hjo-Stenstorp Railway (HSJ) and the Tidaholms Railway (TJ). The station was inaugurated on June 1, 1876 and a new station building was built in the 1920s. The station was closed on January 1, 1989.
