A bird paradise and natural spectacle

Just a few steps north of the parking lot are the very well-preserved foundations of an old earth cellar. The arched entrance surround is still clearly visible.

Beautifully situated bench at the northern bay not far from the parking lot.

A really nice little beach with benches, a fire pit, and an information board. Unfortunately, my spot was completely taken over by canoeists, as the official rest area for canoeists in the north was occupied by German booze-hungry tourists. Annoying.

Although you are walking on a paved road here, the birch forest around you is all the more beautiful.

Here is probably the only well-preserved and visible relic from the old settlement of Nydala on the island of Marsholm.
