This lakeside picnic spot directly at lake Värtan is a scenic waterfront area perfect for a relaxing break, with benches, grassy spaces, and beautiful views of the harbor.

Södergarnsbadet is a lovely open-air spot with a sandy beach, grassy areas, and a little jetty. It’s tucked into a peaceful pine- and oak-forested coastline, right next to Södergarn’s hotel/conference area.

At this beautiful spot by the water, in the former Kottlasjön Hydropower Plant, a bakery and café are now located. It’s the perfect place to relax after a walk, right by the lake, where fresh bread and pastries are baked daily. Vattenverket is open every day from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
