Falset is the capital of the Priorat region and its wines. Thanks to its location and variety of services, it is the ideal point to start and end any bike route through the region and taste its typical products, especially wine.

Gratallops is a town of around 250 inhabitants located in the famous Priorat region. It is perfect to rest after a long walk. Here you will find several private wineries, three hotels, rural accommodation, houses for tourist use, restaurants, a bar, a wine shop and a farm shop.

Falset is the capital of Priorat. It is located in a valley surrounded by mountains and in the very center of the Siurana river basin. The town has a castle built in the 12th century. Two queens were born in it: Eleonor of Cyprus and Margarita de Prades. From 1825 and for more than a century it was used as a prison. Currently, it houses the Museum of Falset and the region.

Located in the highest part of the Mola de Colldejou and just a few meters from the castle, the view reaches the coast of Cambrils. You can also see the impressive Llaberia mountain range and the Pradell-L'Argentera mountain ranges.

La Miranda is a cliff that is more than nine hundred meters high and offers privileged views of the town of Colldejou. There is also the meteorological station of Tivissa-Llaberia.

The hermitage of Sant Gregori is built under the reddish sandstone rocks of the mountain near the municipality of Falset. In front of the hermitage there is a balcony with an excellent viewpoint of the Falset valley. There is also a picnic area with tables very close by.

Falset Castle is one of the emblems of the Priorat, a wine region with a very beautiful town.
