The city is home to a rich cultural heritage, especially from the Middle Ages, which includes a castle and its walled complex, as well as the Romanesque church of Sant Pere. Cervera also has beautiful civil buildings such as the town hall or the university.

The Tossal de les Forques is a mountain of 562 meters and is located at the eastern end of Cervera. There are some rocks at the base of the tossal where there are carved sculptures and inscriptions with religious motifs, which are believed to have been carved by seminarians.
