헤렌시아 주변 인기 장소
Hill of the Mills (also known as Sierra de los Molinos) in Campo de Criptana. In 1575, the Topographical Reports of Philip II already mentioned “many mills” in the area; in 1752, the Cadastre of the Marquis of Ensenada recorded 34 mills in Campo de Criptana. Currently, 10 mills are preserved, three of them (Infante, Burleta, and Sardinero) dating from the 16th century with their original machinery. The complex has been declared a Site of Cultural Interest and designated a “Historic Site.”

The Parish Church was built in 1859. Its most notable features are its Neo-Romanesque elements, particularly the archivolts above the entrance. The nave is over twenty meters long and six meters wide. Large stained-glass windows in the walls fill the interior with light and color.

The Herencia Windmills are one of the most characteristic symbols of La Mancha and are located in the town of Herencia (Ciudad Real). The first windmill was built in 1790 because they were more economical and efficient than water mills, especially in an area with limited waterways. By 1807, there were as many as 11 mills, although seven remain today: El Ama, La Niece, Dulcinea, Maritornes, La Dueña Dolorida, La Duquesa, and Teresa Panza. Four of them were restored in 2003, giving them the typical La Mancha image we associate with Cervantes' work.

A good place to stop, enjoy the traditional mural and its representation and recharge your batteries in the restaurant, where there is good service and good treatment.

In 1925 this mill was still in operation. The neighbours could access it to grind wheat, either via the horse trail located on its eastern side, or via the road called La Nava for carts. This mill also had a nearby building, the miller's hut, and a dividing wall was also built to allow livestock to be kept.
