No problem at all with the north way, really nice landscape; 1h30 in running

Trevélez, located in the Alpujarra of Granada, is one of the highest villages in Spain, with an official altitude of 1,480 meters and its upper district reaching 1,600 meters above sea level. This picturesque Andalusian village is famous for its natural surroundings, traditional architecture, and exquisite cuisine.

The descent via the northern slope is only recommended to a limited extent. Due to a landslide/rockslide, the path has completely disappeared in places and you have to find your way through the terrain without a path for about 1km.

This town, located in the center of the three that are hidden in the wonderful Poqueira ravine, is exceptional. It is worth visiting its church to discover the legend that accompanies it.

One of the classic ascents from Trevélez, a town over which this mass looms almost threateningly. The Local Path of Andalusia nº78 reaches it, reconditioned and signposted in 2010.

This town, located at an altitude of 1,476 m on the southwestern slopes of Mulhacén, is not exactly the highest town in Spain as some claim, but its municipal area is, since the Mulhacén peak is located there. It is for this reason that some of its agricultural lands are also among the highest in Europe. Its name comes from the Latin "velex" which means 'valley'.

This town is considered one of the most beautiful in Spain and it is true that, although its neighbors Capileira and Pampaneira have similarities, Bubión has something that makes it special. Its name means "Land of Oxen".
