The trail also includes a good dozen gates that you have to open and close behind you (cattle enclosures). It can slow down your progress as well. That said, it is a very quiet area and blooms in the spring. Wonderful release!

La Roca de la Sierra is a municipality in the province of Badajoz, located between Puebla de Obando and Villar del Rey. In the municipality there is a set of hills to the northwest of the town called Las Sierrillas.

Some parts of the camino natural are really nice, still and so quiet. Other parts are not good for a full loaded touring bike, as the trail has some loose stones. Still doable but expect low speed and some hike-a-bike in big climbs
