The Gualtón Waterfall is the highest waterfall in the El Bierzo region. It is located near the town of Carracedo de Compludo and is accessible via a hiking trail that begins in the village. The trail takes approximately one hour and is of medium difficulty, with a slightly more challenging final section due to the steep terrain. The waterfall, with a height of approximately 30 meters, is especially impressive in spring, when the water flow is at its greatest.
