Bolmsöleden runs between Sunnaryd in Jönköping County and Bolmsö in Kronoberg County over Lake Bolmen. The length of the ferry route is 1000 meters and the crossing time is ten minutes. Bolmsö Church is a church building in Växjö Diocese, belonging to Bolmsö Parish. The church, completed in 1863, is located on the island of Bolmsö in Lake Bolmen. The church is built of stone and consists of a rectangular nave with a slightly narrower circular chancel to the east. The sanctuary is separated from the nave by a round arch opening. To the north is the sacristy and to the west is the church tower. The entrances are on the west and in the middle of the south side. The nave has a gabled roof covered with single-domed red bricks. The rounded sanctuary is covered with red lacquered sheet metal. The tower roof with spire is clad in copper. The dome is clad with a plain red panel and has a lower cornice with a spire clock.

Angelstad Church The church has many beautiful old furnishings, including an 800-year-old baptismal font. The painting "The Suffering Christ" is an oil painting by Angelstad artist Ragnar Persson, and the chandeliers and sconces were made by master blacksmith Åke Wremp of Angelstad. See the stone and shackles of Ebbe Skammelsson, as well as the memorial shield of the Danish captain who was executed on Christmas Day 1570 in the village of Hylte outside Angelstad. His execution was based on staying with his beloved in the Annerstad rectory for two hours too long. See also the memorial stone of the Rothovius twins outside the church: Jonas, later bishop of Kalmar, and Isak, later bishop of Turku, Finland. The writer Karl Williams, the artist Ragnar Persson, and the singer Harry Brandelius are buried in the old cemetery. Audio guide available in Swedish, German, and English.
