The Salto del Usero area is one of the most beautiful natural spaces in Murcia. Excellent ride in glorious surroundings not too testing so reasonable standard of fitness required

The old railway station has been recovered as a restaurant. It is the ideal place to make a stop on the road.

Beautiful piece of pure nature. Steep descent down stairs. Please note, in the summer months you often have to make a reservation due to crowds. On the internet you can easily find the site and make a reservation if necessary.

It is an impressive viaduct over the Mula River built to facilitate the passage of the train that would connect Caravaca and Murcia. It is over 21 meters high and 151 meters long. Ideal for obtaining the best panoramic views. It is worth a little stop.

Komoot (OCM) shows this section to be Unpaved Singletrack. That is not the case as can be seen in some of the photos. There is an asphalt track for most of the VV in this section, not always in the best condition, but an easy ride. (Although there is also a gravel track alongside much of it.) Bikes can pass in both directions, so it is also not singletrack.

Resto is open and very popular. Today - beer, salad & burger - excellent. It's very popular at the weekend with people spilling out onto the Via Verde, so caution is required. The building is beautiful. the front awning less so. When the sides are down in colder days it doesn't look great, but don't let this put you off. At least stop for a beer.
