Garbí Viewpoint: Spectacular views of the Gulf of Valencia and, on clear days, as far as the Columbretes Islands. Ideal for sunrises and sunsets.

El Garbí is a mountain of 593 meters located in the Serra Calderona, in its eastern part, a short distance from the Mediterranean Sea, between the municipalities of Estivella, Segart and Albalat dels Tarongers, in the region of Camp de Morvedre, if well it should be noted that the viewpoints and the llossar are in Estivella. It has beautiful views of the north coast of Valencia and south of Castelló, as well as the Serra Calderona, to which it belongs.

The path passes near the parking lot and continues along the main path to a pedestrian path marked with sticks that runs along the rocks and leads to the Garbí Viewpoint, installed on the main summit (601 m). In Pla del Garbí there are recreation areas, kiosks, a hermitage and extraordinary views of the Mediterranean coast in Sagunto and Valencia.

Segart is a small mountain town near the Mediterranean coast surrounded by a pleasant mountain environment in a fertile valley surrounded by peaks, ravines and springs. The houses are attached to the steep slopes of the Font ravine, hidden in the foothills of the massif formed by the airy peaks of Mola de Segart, Puntal de l'Abella and El Catí, three beautiful viewpoints of the Calderona mountain range towards the Valencian coast that are the main milestones of the mountain route. At the entrance to the town there is a square with a fountain and a parking space, below the ruins of the old Muslim citadel. The first kilometer of the route goes down the road to the curve of the Garbí ravine. At the detour there is a post for the GR-10 long-distance path towards Serra and Font de Barraix. The climb is marked with red and white signs of the long-distance path on the slopes of the ravine and the wild terraces of the old crop terraces. The Mediterranean Aleppo pine forest dominates the environment, with thickets of rosemary, mastic, thyme and other woody plants that leave just enough space for the path to pass.

The castle stretched from east to west following the elongated shape of the rocky base where it sits. The tower stood at the west end, was made of rammed earth and had 3 floors, and it is possibly the Arab tower. Next to the tower was the residential building, two stories high, and of which only remains of its walls remain.

Undoubtedly the most visited site in the Serra Calderona. El Garbí offers the best panoramic views of the entire Levantine coast and the city of Valencia. It can be accessed there by several ways, even getting there by car since there is parking.
