The Natural Park of the Marismas de Santoña, Victoria and Joyel is the largest wetland in Cantabria with an area that covers 6679 hectares. It is the ideal place for bird watching - more than 121 species of waterfowl live here.

Old fortification that defended the town of Santoña from the entry of enemy ships. It is the oldest in Santoña and was built with earth and wood at the beginning of the 17th century. With its 37 guns it was essential for the defense of the port. In 1992 it was declared an Asset of Cultural Interest.

The Fort of Napoleon is smaller than those of San Martín and San Carlos, because although it was thought to be the largest in the area and consisted of different buildings, it was never finished. It was a large solid work, with several buildings, built under the supervision of the Count of Cafarelli, who was the general commander of Napoleon's troops in northern Spain. Some buildings that served as accommodation for officers and soldiers and the Rouget Battery, built in 1811, are still preserved. The guard booth, unique from this period in Cantabria, is also preserved.

Fort with a horseshoe-shaped plan, built on a promontory, at the entrance to the port of Santoña. You have to climb a few stairs, but not too many and you can access the central patio, the upper part and the exhibitions if there are any. In summer it is open from Monday to Sunday from 11am to 2pm and from 6pm to 9pm. The ticket (€3) entitles you to access the fortification and the exhibitions.
