These events will serve as preparation for the 2027 Falun Nordic World Ski Championships 😀: Men's individual competition on the normal hill on November 25, 2025, Men's individual competition on the large hill on November 26, 2025, Women's individual competition on the normal hill on November 28, 2025, Women's individual competition on the large hill on November 29 and 30, 2025. The Falun Nordic World Ski Championships will take place from February 24 to March 7, 2027, in Falun. Below Åsbobacken, next to the campsite, is the Åsbo Disc Golf Course, operated by Falu DGK. The course, which winds through fields, parks, and forests, was built in 2011 and has 18 holes. The course is maintained weekly, and playing is free. Runn Runt, always follow the red signs with 200 Runn Runt. The loop around Runn Runt is well-marked. You can expect beautiful views of Runn, two cafes, about 460 meters of elevation gain, and all kinds of paved surfaces, but mostly asphalt. The beautiful Vika Kyrka is worth a visit. Have fun 😉.

We were there on Sunday. The location was very popular. Many motorboats passed by. The holidays had just started in Sweden.

A 90-meter and a 60-meter ski jump are located on Lungnet. Unfortunately, they are no longer considered for the annual international ski jumping competitions because the take-off radii no longer meet the requirements. However, the jumps are still used for Nordic combined events. The Cross-Country Skiing World Championships will be held again in Falun in winter 2027.

A K90 (hill size 100, normal hill) and a K120 (hill size 134, large hill) ski jump are located on Lungnet. Unfortunately, they are no longer used in the annual international ski jumping competitions because their take-off radii no longer meet the requirements. However, the jumps are still used in Nordic combined events.
