Viewpoint of what is Parc dels Talls, an old area where earth was extracted and where from this viewpoint you can see the huge hole that was made and which is now full of water.

Urban park located in Santa Fe del Penedès. In the past, this area was part of the Cal Ferret mansion, but it was ceded to the municipality by its owners and is currently a recreational area, with benches, a barbecue, a service building, and a fountain. In the viewpoint there is an information panel.

The remains of this fortification date from the 10th century, when the municipality was created, and it has been the protagonist of various historical episodes: its destruction in 1003 after a Saracen attack, the siege in the 15th century during the Catalan civil war, or in the 15th century. XVII, during the Guerra dels Segadors, in which the French troops defeated the Castilians in this same place. It was from this fact that a process of plunder began that lasted for centuries. The rectangular tower of the castle is not preserved and only some walls remain.

This church began to be built at the beginning of the 20th century, with a style that imitated the Romanesque.

From this viewpoint we can see the largest lake in the Parc dels Talls. These lakes, known as "pèlags", have been formed by the phreatic flooding of old gypsum quarries, in an example of the renaturalization and recovery of a mining area. The area is very rich in diversity of flora and fauna.
