One of the toughest climbs in the Priorat region. It's nothing like the other side. The climb starts before Escaladei, specifically in the village of Viliella Baixa. From there to the top it's approximately 11 kilometers. From Escaladei, it's 4 kilometers, 3 of which are very tough, with gradients exceeding 10%, although interspersed with flatter sections. It's a MUST in this area.

Gratallops is a town of around 250 inhabitants located in the famous Priorat region. It is perfect to rest after a long walk. Here you will find several private wineries, three hotels, rural accommodation, houses for tourist use, restaurants, a bar, a wine shop and a farm shop.

The castle of Móra d'Ebre is of Arab origin and dates from the 11th century. Currently, part of the walls, a tower, a terrace and some rooms are preserved. It is worth visiting the ruins of the castle, as they also act as a viewpoint of the surroundings as they are located on a promontory.

The western entrance to La Morera de Montsant, a village on the edge of the natural park and mountains Serra de Montsant, is much steeper compared to the East. If you plan this section as departure, caution is advised. Some curves are confusing and the road sometimes bumpy and narrow. Scenic definitely a highlight - especially for those who like to drive uphill.
