The Hermitage of contemporary architecture, made of concrete, can be seen on the outskirts of the town of Alberite in La Rioja. The architectural style hoped to establish a connection between the structure, the personal scale and the surrounding landscape. You can be the judge of that.

Imposing cross on top of the mountain under which the battle of Clavijo took place. I recommend going and coming back along the return itinerary from the hermitage: the one that went up had a lot of loose stones.

The Monastery of San Prudencio is located in a hollow of the mountain that gives it its name, Monte Laturce, between the towns of Clavijo and Leza de Río Leza, in an inhospitable and wild place, which currently houses the ruins of a primitive Church from the end of the 12th century, of the Cistercian type; those of a later one from the seventeenth century and those of a huge hamlet that surrounded them, which are being destroyed day by day due to weather conditions.
