A pleasant stroll through greenery

The Berrizjauregi botanical garden is located in the heart of the town of Berriz, next to the town hall. It has impressive specimens of ancient trees, such as oaks, beeches, cedars and sequoias.

Although there is little data about this church, it is believed that its origins date back to the 13th century. However, it has undergone subsequent expansions, since the bell tower dates back to the 18th century.

The Aixola reservoir is located between the provinces of Vizcaya and Guipúzcoa. It is surrounded by a beautiful landscape made up of shady pine, oak and beech forests.

From the dam you have beautiful views in both directions. Looking at the lake and the mountains behind it is very nice, but looking into the small valley is also nice.

The path around the lake is very nice. In this place you will find beautiful views of the lake and a small fountain that almost always has water.

This wonderful trail that goes around the lake is a great place to enjoy the shade, watch birds and look at the flowers.
