The cafe is a community enterprise that offers stunning views of the Tayport Harbour and the River Tay. You can choose from a variety of menu options, such as breakfast rolls, waffles, toasties, sandwiches, paninis, baked potatoes, salads, pizzas and cakes. The cafe also caters for gluten-free and vegetarian diets. The Harbour Cafe is open 7 days a week, from 10am to 4pm, and you can either sit in or take away your order.

The Ice House was built in 1852 and was used to store locally caught salmon. To provide insulation, layers of heather and straw were packed around the ice, creating a rather ingenious deep freeze.
