wonderful enclave with traditional corals

Codesal is a small hamlet in the heart of the Sierra de la Culebra. On the outskirts is the old cemetery. In this cemetery, an imposing oak tree survives generations of inhabitants, surely one hundred years old, which has become an emblem of the town.

Through Villanueva de Valrojo passed the Roman road of Via Agusta XVII that connected Astorga and Braga. This small town is located at the foot of the privileged landscape of the Sierra de la Culebra.

Mahide is a small hamlet in the Aliste region, in the province of Zamora, surrounded by a natural environment of great value such as the Sierra de la Culebra.

Villardeciervos is a small town located in the Sierra de la Culebra de Zamora. The town was declared a historical-artistic complex in 1987 due to its traditional constructions, most of them made of local stone.

Located in the small town of Riofrío de Aliste, we find this beautiful Las Mayadicas Recreational Area. An ideal place to rest and/or recover energy. There are tables and barbecue for picnic. And you can see the Sierra de la Culebra in the background

Nice recreational area where there is a refuge and the Corrales de Tozalfreno, one of these rehabilitated, whose use was to protect cattle from wolves.
