Beautiful views of the beach of Santa María del Mar while we practice road bike. Along with this, we will also have a wonderful picture of the Puerto beach. In the place we will find a picnic area.

The existence of iron in Llumeres was already known to the Romans. Already in the 19th century, inhabitants of the area once again extracted this mineral, but since 2008, the mine and the port of Llumeres have been in a state of ruin. Now there is a small recreational area and a viewpoint on the way down to the beach. The beach has acquired a reddish tone due to the exploitation of iron and even today it is possible to see spots of this color in the sea. The machine house, workshops, offices, changing rooms, mineral classifier, a mine entrance, the dam and its mineral loading docks are preserved in ruins.
