The Fassberg Airlift Museum, located at the air base in the Südheide region, commemorates the Berlin Airlift of 1948/49 and Fassberg's important contribution to supplying the besieged city. In several Nissen huts, railway carriages, and an outdoor area, the story is vividly told through documents, images, and original objects. A special highlight is the Douglas C-47 "Fassberg Flyer," an original Rosinenbomber, which is the centerpiece of the exhibition. The exhibition is complemented by sections of the Berlin Wall, logistics exhibits, and, more recently, a QR-guided audio guide in several languages. The museum is open daily in the afternoon from April to October. Admission is inexpensive, and children up to twelve years old are free. Guided tours are available for groups, and there are regular special events such as International Museum Day or holiday programs for children. Even unusual offerings such as civil weddings in the historic Rosinenbomber are part of the concept. The museum combines authentic history, personal experiences and impressive exhibits to create a living place of remembrance.

Village Street - Southern Main Street with historic cobblestone paving and flanking summer paths, as well as an associated oak avenue. In Schmarbeck near Faßberg, this cobblestone village street has been preserved as a listed building. It characterizes the historic town center and still conveys the original character of this heathland village. Together with the thatched farmyards and sheepfolds, it forms an impressive ensemble of traditional building and settlement history in the southern heath.

The Faßberg Airlift Museum commemorates the Berlin Airlift of 1948/49, during which large quantities of coal were flown from Faßberg to Berlin. Original documents, exhibits, and photographs are displayed in historic Nissen huts, railway carriages, and on the outdoor display featuring the Douglas C-47 "FASSBERG-FLYER." Segments of the Berlin Wall complement the exhibition. Open daily from April to October, the museum offers a striking insight into this significant chapter in post-war German history.

The Dandelion Fountain in Faßberg is located in Yerville Park, a green oasis in the town center, created in 2000 as part of the partnership with the French municipality of Yerville. The fountain is a stylized water feature that replicates the delicate structure of a dandelion, similar to the famous fountain on Robert Meyer Square in Celle. It serves as an aesthetic highlight, a meeting place, and a place of relaxation for residents and visitors, symbolizing the connection between Faßberg and Yerville, as well as cultural exchange and community.
