On the Mirador del Guarda Forestal there is a statue that was placed in 1977 to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the creation of the Forest Rangers corps. The statue is a reminder of the efforts and importance of the forest rangers in the conservation and protection of nature in the region.

The Mirador del Guarda Forestal, also known as Mirador Cuenca del Río Turón, is a beautiful viewpoint located in the Parque Nacional de la Sierra de las Nieves. It is located at approximately 900 meters above sea level and offers panoramic views of the Cuenca del Río Turón and the surrounding forests and mountains. From this viewpoint you can admire the beautiful landscapes of the Sierra de las Nieves, including the Sierra Cabrillas, the Pilones and the Virgen de las Nieves convent ruins.

Puerto del Viento is a climb in the Costa del Sol region of Spain that is popular with cyclists and walkers. The pass connects Ronda to El Burgo and is approximately 11.2 kilometres (7 miles) long from Ronda and 13.3 kilometres (8.3 miles) long from El Burgo. It has an elevation gain of 360 metres (1,180 feet) from Ronda and 612 metres (2,000 feet) from El Burgo, with an average gradient of 3.2% and 4.6% respectively. This route offers stunning views of the Sierra de las Nieves and Sierra de Grazalema, and is a great place to explore the nature and landscape of Andalusia. It is a relatively quiet route with little traffic, making it ideal for a relaxing and enjoyable ride.
