Spectacular view of the Burgomillodo Reservoir Dam. A good place to stop for a coffee or something to eat along the way.

I have gone through the gorges of the Duraton River, but you can go by car to a parking lot 500 meters away. Next to the Hermitage of San Frutos are the ruins of the Hermitage of San Valentín, its brother.

The 17th century church of San Andrés is located in the Plaza de España, the central point of the town of Cantalejo, declared a Site of Cultural Interest in 1995. Right next to it there is a water fountain.

We are at the Convento de la Hoz Viewpoint, which offers us beautiful panoramic views of the meanders of the Duratón River and the Hoz Monastery located in the town of La Hoz de la Vieja. It is accessed via a beautiful forest track of a few kilometers and upon arrival it impresses you with its spectacular views. Highly recommended!

A small path that runs along both sides of the Río Duratón and that gives us beautiful views of the riverbed itself.

In the passage of the Río Duratón through these lands, over the years, the river has created a huge gorge that has formed walls that are currently used for nesting vultures and their young.

The town of Villar de Sobrepeña is a town located in this protected area of the province. However, there are currently around 45 inhabitants.
