It is a narrowing of the lateral cliffs of the Tagus River. It is also known as the Gate of the Alto Tajo. From this place upwards begins the Alto Tajo Natural Park.

On the right bank of the Tagus River, in the area of Hundido de Armallones, very close to the strait of La Tormellera, there is a curious waterfall of Piedra de Tuffa, which has been formed by the flow of water and time. It has great beauty.

The Tetas de Viana constitute an extraordinary place from a defensive point of view, which is why they have been inhabited since ancient times. At present they constitute a spectacular viewpoint of the surrounding landscape. From them you can see the beautiful surrounding towns, Trillo, Viana de Mondejar, and La Puerta (at the entrance to Rocas Castle).

The bridge is of medieval origin and already in the 16th century it attracted attention for having only one eye, very firm and of great beauty.

The town is surrounded by four hermitages that we can also visit, dedicated to Santa Bárbara, La Soledad, San Roque and Nuestra Señora de la Esperanza, built in 1691 by Juan García Ochaíta. The latter stands out for its large dimensions and for having been moved stone by stone to the top of a hill due to works on the reservoir.

The town sits on the right bank of the Tagus River and belongs to the Comarca de la Alcarria. In the background we have the beautiful Entrepeñas reservoir that gives it some unique places. This land is rich in the production of oil and in its center the Plaza Mayor and the church of La Asunción stand out.
