Peñaranda de Duero is a municipality in Burgos, in the Ribera del Duero region, known for its rich historical heritage. Its old town, declared a Historic Site, is notable for the Peñaranda de Duero Castle, the Palace of the Counts of Miranda, its arcaded Plaza Mayor, and its provincial roll.
