Lorca is a name that pulsates with history, and you feel it most vividly here on the square. A historic city center that takes you through medieval streets, baroque palaces, and churches that will take your breath away.

Unfortunately, the "cycle path" is still in terrible condition in January 2026. However, the beautiful scenery makes it worthwhile to choose this route, even if it means pushing your bike occasionally. Tip: Several side paths lead to charming little bathing coves. The alternative is to take a route along a busy country road (at least it has a shoulder).

A very beautiful route and almost problem-free to ride in 2024, but this year? simply very difficult because of the heavy rain 🚴♀️🌴🌊 very exhausting and demanding at the moment 🥴 I just rode yesterday and it took me twice as long because of the mud 🙈😅🚴♀️
