The Church of El Salvador in Arrúbal is a 16th-century temple with an elegant Gothic nave and several side chapels, notable for its octagonal tower and 17th-century Baroque portal. Inside, the impressive Romanesque altarpiece and the Mannerist carving of Christ, flanked by the Virgin of Sorrows and Saint John, are particularly noteworthy. The baptismal font from 1692 and the Rococo pieces beneath the choir add a unique historical touch, making it ideal for a leisurely visit during a tour of the area.

Ventas Blancas is a village belonging to the municipality of Lagunilla del Jubera, in the province and autonomous community of La Rioja. The parish church of Santa Cruz, whose altar was restored in 2018, and also three hermitages are part of its cultural heritage. The hermitage of San Gregorio, from the 18th century, contains a Romanesque image of San Gregorio. Of the Visigothic hermitage of Santa María de Rute, only a semicircular arch and some walls remain. It dates from the 6th century and hardly had any decoration. In the 12th century it became a Cistercian monastery, adding some rooms, which were described in archaeological excavations carried out in the 1970s. The hermitage of Santa Juliana, located to the south of the village, is a humble construction with a gabled roof that is currently in a dilapidated state.

The Murillo del Río Leza viewpoint is a mandatory stop on your route. From here you will be able to observe with perspective a town with Roman roads and different settlements that attest to the archaeological remains found in the areas. Don't forget to look at the horizon, the Sierra de Cameros greets you.

The Pichilín path is a paved road that runs parallel to the Leza riverbed. It is a very quiet road as it is very little frequented by motor vehicles.
