You can see this place in front of you for a long time and think that this must be Torres del Rio - the destination of the stage. But no, the path leads elegantly past it right in front of you and then a little further up to Torres.

A marvel of a building, mostly baroque, that is worth visiting. Contrary to what the Wikipedia article says, this town is located in the Foral Community of Navarra, belonging to the Kingdom of Spain. What about Euskalherria, upper Navarra is strictly false and illegal.

Lapobación is a medieval settlement that probably arose from its location in the natural passage between the rocky ridges of limestone between the north and the south. It is part of a municipality made up of Lapoblación and Meano. From the road, the gray limestone ridges that hang over the core of old stone houses can be seen.

Los Arcos is a perfect place to stop to recharge your batteries or buy groceries if you are doing the Camino de Santiago by bike. It has three bakeries and several restaurants. In addition, it is worth having a coffee in the Plaza de Santa María, next to the porticos of the church and the Portal de Castilla.

Los Arcos to the right of the main road has a small plaza with several arcades and an interesting church of Santa Maria in a mixture of styles. The 15th century paintings have become somewhat dark. Next to the church, pilgrims left the town via the Puerta de Castilla over the bridge Rio Odron. The albergue is across the street.
