The Poqueira River hydroelectric plant is located at the headwaters of the river from which it takes its name, at the confluence of the latter with the Toril and Nante rivers, 3 kilometers north of the urban center of Capileira (Granada). This power station is the main building of a hydroelectric complex made up of three elements: the power station, the loading chamber and the water conduction channel.
