Hiked January 2025. Start of stairs down dangerous and unsuitable for children. Many stairs work BROKEN or gone. Very sloppy. Signposting route, almost 0. GPS reception possibilities at the bottom limited. Special landscape but there are many nicer walks. We found it disappointing.

The Rambla de Tabernas is a watercourse that flows through the center of the province of Almería, in Andalusia. It rises in the Sierra de los Filabres, in a place called springs of the Rambla de Tabernas, and flows in a southwesterly direction for 33 km until it empties into the Andarax River, near the municipality of Rioja. During its journey, it crosses the famous Tabernas Desert, which was the setting for many films in the 60s and 70s of the 20th century.
