The historic monastery on the outskirts of the town of Cuacos de Yuste is the last resting place of Emperor Charles V. The Monastery of Yuste was originally built in 1407 and was rebuilt and expanded over the centuries.

Garganta Mayor Route is a low difficulty route that runs through the puddles left by the Garganta Mayor on its descent near the town.

Garganta la Olla has a privileged environment surrounded by mountains, natural gorges.

The Yuste Monastery is known worldwide for being the last resting place of Emperor Carlos V, and is currently the venue for the Carlos V European Award ceremony in an act presided over by H.M. the king. In a privileged environment that includes natural itineraries, a visit to the Monastery allows you to discover the Royal Room, the church and the Gothic and Renaissance Cloisters.

The path from the Cascada Caozo is a partly very steep mountain path with very few cairns and is densely overgrown. The pool at the Cascada Calderon invites you to swim.

The picturesque path that leads to this waterfall is worth the trip, but this does not rule out the beauty of the Cascada del Calderón.

The Church of the Assumption was built in the 15th century on the foundations of an earlier 13th century church-fortress. The tower of the military building was used to build the bell tower of the current church. The church has been declared a Historic-Artistic Monument. Inside, it preserves excellent altarpieces from the Andalusian school such as that of Santa Catalina and that of San Jerónimo. We can also admire a beautiful baroque organ. The 16th century sacristy also stands out.
