Vilagrassa, also officially known as Vilagrasa, is a Spanish municipality located in the province of Lérida, in the Autonomous Community of Catalonia. The Església de Santa Maria, this church was built between the 13th and 14th centuries. It has a main altar and seven lateral ones, as well as a rectory and a choir.

Tàrrega is the capital of the Urgel region and has historically been a point of great interest since the construction of its castle and medieval Arab walls. In its old town, the church of Santa María de l'Alba, from the 17th century, and other buildings of heritage interest stand out. Its proximity to numerous communication routes makes it an ideal service center for travelers.

The parish church of Santa Maria is one of the main elements of the town of Vilagrassa and is located in the old middle of the town. Around it, a quiet and shady area in front of the church itself.

Tàrrega Castle is located on a small hill in the south-west area of the city. This construction was the founding origin of what is known as the medieval town of Tàrrega, located at a crossroads of roads coming from Barcelona, Tarragona and Balaguer
