Access point to the Camino de Santiago from the Jaca road. After some small stairs (there is also a ramp), kilometers and kilometers of dirt and stone path begin to walk, run or mountain bike. It is very frequented by pilgrims and by the residents and vacationers of Jaca. This point also connects with the Los Miradores and Los Ríos trails.

At this point, the path of the Roman road, which leads to the Las Calzadas ravine, and the track that leads to the path that goes up to the Peña Oroel parador separate (or join).

Enjoyable trail with a bit of everything: narrow trail, forest, stones, some steep slope where you may have to put your hands... A perfect section to get loose jogging along simple paths and to protect yourself from the sun and heat in the months of summer, as it runs through the interior of a forest.

Local people know this statue as 'El Pelos'. Actually, it is a monument to La Jacetania made by the Huesca sculptor Ángel Orensanz, a native of a town in this region: Larués. The sculpture represents a pilgrim and is full of symbols of the land: in its hands it holds the old monastery of San Juan de la Peña and on different plates we can see the figures of: the Holy Grail, the Book of the Chain, the Cathedral of Jackfruit, a typical musical instrument of the area (the psaltery), a skier, the industry of Sabiñánigo, the Camino de Santiago and a man dressed in the typical costume of Alto Aragón.
