Amazing 360° views Actually this is not Yerbas peak but Monte Gordo ;)

I went up from the Buñol windmills there are about 22 kilometers approx. (uphill) take it easy and enjoy the views as you go because they are spectacular. A hydration backpack will be ideal. In my case, I used a 3 L Camel back. and it was enough, I had a pint or so left over. I recommend it because almost everything is a very rolling track.

It is a medieval fortress of Muslim origin built on Roman remains, which is located on a hill overlooking the town of Shiva and was part of the defensive ensemble of the town of Valencia, controlling its communications with the interior. The castle is located on a flat, elongated platform at the top of the hill, adapting to the terrain in a north-south direction. The fortress consisted of three defensive lines and although it is in ruins, there are remains of canvases on the wall and a tower, built with tapial. Two parts can be distinguished, one of them, the seloquia is located in the highest part, and where reusing the remains of the fortress, a hermitage was built in the eighteenth century.

Clear summit with a forest surveillance station from where you can see a wonderful panoramic view of the Gulf of Valencia and the Albufera.
