Low difficulty, ideal for beginners

The Santurce thermal power plant is a thermoelectric power plant located in the municipality of Santurce, in Vizcaya. It has four groups, for which it uses fuel oil and natural gas as fuel, and is owned by the company Iberdrola.

The Sardinera Park is located in Santurtzi, in the Kai-Alde. You can reach it by going up Capital Mendizabal street. This park, recently renovated, is known for housing the Monument to the Sardinera, erected in 1964 in honor of the sardine farmers, who made this municipality famous with their work. The park has gardens, benches and a small closed playground for the little ones. From it you have magnificent views of the Port of Bilbao.

Santurtzi Park, also known as Santurce Park or Central Park, is an urban park inaugurated in 1918 located next to the Bilbao estuary in Santurce. Description There are trees that are not common in the Basque Country: a giant sequoia, Himalayan cedars, Japanese bushes and palm trees from America and Africa, among other species. In the center of the park there is a kiosk built in 1917. with polychrome mosaics with images of municipalities around the estuary and sardine farms. The kiosk is used by the Unión Musical Vizcaína, the town's music band, for their concerts in the summer. Next to the park is an extension of the park popularly known as "Parque de las Olas".
