Only accessible on foot from Faro Des Salines or by boat. There are no restrooms, sun loungers, or umbrellas available for hire. There are also no water sports or restaurants. People go to this beach to swim and soak up the sun, and to escape the crowds and usual beaches. This pristine beach is located at the southernmost tip of Mallorca, along a rocky, unpaved path, and, due to its isolation, is perhaps the least visited beach on the island. The nearest road to Faro Ses Salines and the resort of Colonia Sant de Jordi. The approximately 500-meter-long beach features fine, white sand and incredibly turquoise waters.

The Colonia Sant Jordi Lighthouse, also called Faro de la Colònia de Sant Jordi, stands at the southernmost tip of the bay of Colonia Sant Jordi. It serves as an important landmark for ships entering the Colonia Sant Jordi harbor (marina), thus ensuring the safety of local maritime traffic. Lighthouses in Mallorca are generally painted white and have a cylindrical or conical shape. Many are built on cliffs or rocks, offering breathtaking views of the sea and the surrounding landscape. This is no different. The Colonia Sant Jordi Lighthouse consists of a square body, upon which the round tower is built. The tower has a white base and three wide black stripes. The lighthouse (Spanish: Faro) is entered through a shiny silver door. Inside, a staircase leads upstairs. There are several lighthouses of this type in the east and south of Mallorca. Overall, the Faro de Colonia Sant Jordi is worth a trip if you're staying in Migjorn, the south of Mallorca. Traveling a long way just to see the lighthouse isn't recommended, but in combination with a visit to the town, a walk to the lighthouse is worthwhile, both during the day and at sunset.
