The Casa de Piedra is one of the Indiano mansions in the town of Colombres. It was built over a century ago, in 1909, by order of Ana María Sánchez Escalante, in the El Redondo neighborhood. It is a three-story building, except for the towers with large, overhanging eaves in the mountain style, which have four floors. About 100 years later, the Indiano house was renovated to become a key facility for Ribadedeva's sociocultural proposals and initiatives. The Indiano building currently houses the municipal library, the telecenter, an exhibition hall, the municipal archive, and various multipurpose spaces for courses and activities.

Just as you’re about to pull into Potes there’s a great little platform that looks over the town and the mountain range behind it. They’ve installed a mount for phones so you can easily nab a selfie! Potes in general has a few of these mounts around for great photos — keep an eye out!

This section of the León-Unquera highway parallel to the Deva River leaves you speechless. A paved road in the purest alpine style. You cross winding curves that open a gap between high limestone walls.

From the Lliesba viewpoint, on a clear day, you will be able to glimpse peaks such as the Morra de Lechugales or the Sagrado Corazón. The views from the top are incredible.

The section between Linares and La Hermida will be a great surprise. It is a winding mountain road that will leave you with tired legs and a feeling of joy at being able to enjoy such unparalleled views. On the way down, I suggest you visit the Romanesque church of Santa Juliana, right at the entrance to the town of Lafuente.

It is a fishing and fishing village surrounded by a privileged environment, in the heart of the Oyambre Natural Park. It has beautiful beaches such as Oyambre and the extensive sandy areas of Merón, small coves such as Gerra, without forgetting the San Vicente estuary, the Tostadero estuary and Fuentes.
