You can enjoy the view of a small spring that gives rise to the river. It is a quiet and picturesque place, surrounded by vegetation and rocks. From there, the Urdón River begins its course descending through the valley, creating waterfalls and forming impressive landscapes along its route.

The Collado de Jitu is crowned without a sign, it is located about 300 meters from the car park from which we will have impressive views of the Picos de Europa area. The Jitu de Escarandi is a beautiful port at the level of many others like the Gamoniteiru, without going any further. A real gem to discover.

The Urdón Tresviso PR-PNPE 30 route is a route of medium difficulty due to the unevenness to be overcome (more than 800 meters), which runs along paths with sections of loose stone and areas with significant vertical drops without lateral protection. Although, unless you have vertigo, it does not present major objections.

From this spot, you are afforded an incredible view over the Eastern Massif of Picos and the Urdón basin. The sense of serenity here is spellbinding, too. The only sounds are birdsong, insects flying by, wind and the gentle chiming of distant cattle bells. Bliss.

Tresviso, a very original mountain village within the Picos de Europa. Nowadays this place can be arrived by car, but the original path from the Urdon bridge up the mountains means a hike with 900 m altitude within 6 kilometers.
