The Bolao Cliff is a stunning natural setting on the coast of Cantabria, Spain, between Cóbreces and Toñanes. It is famous for the El Bolao waterfall, which falls directly into the sea, and for the ruins of a medieval mill. The landscape combines the green meadows with the rugged Cantabrian Sea coast, offering spectacular views.

It is next to the Camino de Santiago, and has spectacular views of the Picos de Europa. You can enter and ascend some stairs to the top to take some very special photos. According to the historical records of Oreña, before 1111 there was a chapel in the place where the Church now rests. Of this, at present, only one of the gates remains, which is called by the residents gate No. 1. It is worth visiting.

Nice beach with a large extension ideal for any time of the year but especially in the summer months although it can be quite crowded.
